(חבל ההר הנמצא דרומית לזוארה).<br /> מקור השם: לקוח מספר תהילים: &quot;צִוָּה אֱלֹוקיךָ עֻזֶּךָ עוּזָּה אֱלֹקים זוּ פָּעַלְתָּ לָּנוּ&quot; (ס&quot;ח, כ&quot;ט). <br /> פסוק זה מתאר חגיגות ושמחת ניצחון בישראל לאחר מלחמה.<br /> מושב עוזה נקרא בתחילה: מעברת פלוג'ה א',<br /> על שם הכפר הערבי פלוג'ה אשר היה <br /> באזור עד מלחמת העצמאות.<br /> באותה מלחמה בתש&quot;ח נערכו קרבות קשים<br /> בין הצבא המצרי לחיילי חטיבת גבעתי.<br /> משתייך לתנועת &quot;הפועל המזרחי&quot;. <br /> מיקומו בגוש הדרומי של מועצה אזורית &quot;שפיר&quot;<br /> (יחד עם היישובים: אבן שמואל, איתן, שלווה ונועם).<br /> משבצת של אלף דונם. <br /> <br /> &quot;כל ההתחלות קשות&quot;,<br /> כך אומרת האמרה.<br /> בראשיתו הישוב הוקם באזור מושב שלווה(פלוג'ה ב').<br /> המייסדים התגוררו באוהלים ופחונים.<br /> הם התפרנסו מעבודות דחק, עבודות יזומות,<br /> עבודות קק&quot;ל של סיקול אבנים וניקוש עשבים.<br /> השפות המדוברות היו: עברית וערבית.<br /> &quot;אנחנו אוהבים את עוזה,<br /> רק תנו לנו מים&quot;.<br /> עיתון &quot;הארץ&quot;, 18,5,1954.<br /> בשנותיו הראשונות סבל המושב ממחסור ממחסור חמור במים.<br /> מידי יום עבר רכב מיכלית מים וחילק מים בהקצבה.<br /> הבאר המערבית באזור אבו ג'אבר, המרוחקת מהמושב כשבעה ק&quot;מ,<br /> סיפקה מעט מים לשלושת ישובי הפלוג'ות:<br /> אחוזם, שלווה ועוזה.<br /> קו המים העלה חלודה ונסדק במקומות רבים.<br /> הקידוח שנעשה בסביבה שלא העלה מים<br /> וגם שאיבות הניסיון הרבות בבארות ערביות נטושות לא העלו מים.<br /> מחוסר ברירה, ומתוך רצון לא לעבור לסדר היום,<br /> החליטו תושבי עוזה להאבק ב&quot;סוכנות היהודית&quot;.<br /> שישים אנשים מתושבי הכפר, בהם<br /> נשים, גברים וטף הפגינו לפני בניין הסוכנות בירושלים,<br /> על שום שהמדינה מספקת כמות למושב כמות זעומה של מים,<br /> שאינה מספיקה אפילו לצרכי שתיה.<br /> משלחת המפגינים תבעה להיפגש עם מנהל מחלקת הקליטה<br /> של הסוכנות רענן וייץ ז&quot;ל ומאחר שהוא באותו זמן נעדר ממשרדו<br /> נתקבלה המשלחת על ידי מזכיר המחלקה מר גורן.<br /> לאחר שדרישותיהם לא נענו ועקב יחסם האדיש של המוסדות, <br /> גירשו המתיישבים מהכפר את שני מדריכי הסוכנות החברתי והחקלאי, סגרו את בית הספר<br /> וגן הילדים ושלחו הביתה את שני המורים והגננות.<br /> מאבקם של המתיישבים נשא פרי ובקיץ תשט&quot;ז-1956 חוברו עוזה ושלווה לרשת המים.<br /> בשנים הראשונות מוסדות המדינה הצעירה ביקשו מהמושבים הוותיקים לאמץ<br /> מושבי עולים חדשים.<br /> מושב כפר הרוא&quot;ה בסיוע &quot;המכשיר&quot;
