|Description=הסכר הוא תחילת תעלת ההטיה הסורית שנועדה לאסוף את מי החצבני, הבניאס וכל נחלי הגולן, ולהוליך אותם לסוריה. חפירת התעלה החלה ב1964 תחת הפגזות ארטילריה ומטוסים של צה"ל והיתה אחת מעילות פרוץ מלחמת ששת הימים. רוב התעלה עד דרום הגולן נחצב עד המלחמה וכן החלו לכרות מנהרה ליד מבוא חמה.<br />
